Senior Section
The Senior Section includes Rangers, Young Leaders and Adult Leaders under 26 years of age. There are Girlguiding UK activities arranged locally and nationally for Senior Section participants.

Young Leaders are technically girls between the age of 14 and 16 who are registered with Girlguiding UK to help out at meetings with Guides, Brownies or Rainbows, and may be working towards the Young Leader award.

Young Leaders are not to be confused with young Adult Leaders, who still count as Senior Section until they are 26, but are over 16 and doing their Adult Leadership Qualification. Girls may still help in units even if they do not do work on the Adult Leadership Qualification. Rangers.

The age range for Rangers is 14 years to 25 years. Any girl who wants to stay part of Girlguiding, but does not necessarily want to be a leader, can be a Ranger.
