Brownies
Brownies are aged between 7 and 10. Did you know...
  • A big group of Brownies is called a Pack.
  • A small group of Brownies is called a Six.
  • The Brownie in charge of a Six is called a Sixer and their assistant is called a Seconder.
The Brownie Programme is called the Brownie Adventure. It is divided into three areas: You, Community and World.

The programme has a balance of activities eg. fitness, arts, out-of-doors, international but the overall aim is fun and friendship.

There is a wide variety of badges which a Brownie can do on her own or as a unit. Popular ones are Artist, Hostess, Swimmer and Road Safety.

Units go away on sleepovers and holidays or even camps for older girls.

The name Brownies come from the Brownie Storey
